Financial Literacy Workshops |
There are 3 ways you can bring a Money XLive
event to your community: |
| |
| |
Money XLive
Multimedia – an interactive video base program where participants watch their favorite celebrities and sport stars share money lessons while they complete practical activities designed to build their financial foundation. |
| |
Money XLive Main Event – Bring the full production financial education event to your community! Perfect for organizations looking to make a big impact in their community. Great for potential sponsor and nonprofits looking to raise funds and build community awareness. |
| |
Money XLive Custom – The NFEC can customize a MXL financial literacy workshop to suit your budget and timing needs. Enjoy the same excitement of the main event, while we feature local entertainment talent to perform. |
| |
Money XLive Multimedia |
| |
The MXL multimedia is a three hour to half day financial literacy program that combines celebrity video instruction with top-rated financial literacy curriculum. The combination keeps the participants engaged through the learning process and motivates them to continue to develop their money skill sets. |
| |
The MXL Multimedia program is aligned with national financial education standards and is practical in nature. The students complete ‘real world’ activities and by the time they have completed the workshop they have already begun to build a solid financial foundation. In fact, by the end of the financial literacy workshop they will have a budget in place, a long-term financial plan, financial goals and more financial knowledge than most people posses. |
| |
MXL Multimedia is not your typical ‘boring’ financial education event. This video and activity-based financial literacy workshop will keep your students entertained and wanting to learn more. |
| |
Program comes with: |
| |
 |
Step-by-Step Facilitator Guide or a Live Instructor |
 |
Videos, PowerPoint slides and an assortment of presentation tools. |
 |
A complete marketing package which includes: media releases, partnership request forms, sponsorship prospectus, marketing fliers, and other tools you’ll need to host a successful event. |
 |
Money Smart Parent video course that you can give complimentary to the parents of attendees. |
 |
A sixteen week follow-up course that you can give complimentary to all attendees. |
 |
Support package which includes unlimited support. |
| |
A comment on the MXL Multimedia financial literacy program - “It was a huge success! A lot of excellent feedback from both the kids and parents regarding the videos. I think next time we need to put it on at a bigger venue. Again, I want to thank you so much for your continuous support. It is nice to know that you are just a call away in case of a question.” Natalie Nahas, Financial Education Coordinator, Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union |

Money XLive Main Event |
| |
As you can see from the video, MXL is a concert style production financial literacy workshop that resembles an MTV award show. Leading celebrities, athletes, bands, entertainers, DJ’s and financial education experts all come together to inspire, educate and move participants to take positive action toward their financial future. |
| |
MXL Main Events serve between 750 and 3,000 participants. It delivers significant media exposure, helps our partner organizations build community goodwill and can generate a true ROI for our marketing partners. Perfect for financial institutions looking to gain positive exposure and nonprofits looking to raise funds, awareness and gain volunteer support while they educate the youth they serve. |
| |
Money XLive Custom |
| |
To reduce the investment required for the MXL Mega-event the NFEC has put together a smaller version of the show financial literacy workshop that packs the same bang. We partner with local entertainment talent and create a fully choreographed show that will have attendees talking long after the event. |
| |
Red carpet photos, local entertainment, top DJ’s and financial education experts make an impact on the participants and community. Serving 200 to 1000 participants this financial literacy workshop serves as a great kick-off to any money management program. |
| |
“The Money XLive program covers the financial literacy that schools are presently lacking today. A lot of schools may not be able to afford to bring Money XLive
to their campus. Working with a local Credit Union to bring financial literacy into the classroom can be an affordable alternative,” stated Kenressa Pierce, Verity Credit Union |
